HOURS: Full time, primarily evenings and weekends

We are seeking to recruit a Bar Manager in McKendry's Bar. Your role will be to plan, direct, and oversee all operations within McKendry's Bar under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager, ensuring product and high service standards are maintained. Job Description:
The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
* Supervise and assist with the management of all day-to-day operational issues relating to McKendry's Bar under the guidance of the Bar Manager.
* Plan, direct and oversee all operations within McKendry's Bar.
* Manage stock ensuring consistent and positive stock results.
* Assist with the setting of service and quality standards in the bar.
* Demonstrate a strong focus on the quality of customer service, maintain and develop positive relationships with clients/guests to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrate knowledge of the Resort's services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
* Participating in regular team meetings.
* Carrying out all opening and closing procedures of a bar, including till reconciliations and other key holder duties.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the bar industry and explore opportunities to add value to the Resort.
* Collecting and acting on customer feedback to improve the overall running of the Resort and ensure that prompt action is taken to resolve complaints according to company policy.
* Work closely with other departments to; communicate promotional activities effectively, drive sales and continually improve standards.
Attending any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
Applicants Criteria:
* Have at least 1-2 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager in a similar role.
* Have extensive beverage knowledge and a passion for learning new skills.
* Experience in controlling stock levels.
* Have experience in carrying out opening and closing procedures of a bar, including till reconciliations and other key holder duties.
* Be able to demonstrate an ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team.
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Be an excellent team worker with a positive, friendly attitude.
* Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work weekends and evenings.
* Be performance-driven and focused on implementing a culture of excellent customer service.
