Job Description:
We are seeking a Commercial Manager contractor to develop and oversee complex commercial agreements, ensure contractual compliance, and drive commercial excellence in high-stakes environments.

Join us to lead commercial strategy for a leading defence and security organisation. You will provide strategic guidance, manage contractual compliance, and lead negotiations in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for key programmes
* Manage contractual activities to ensure compliance and value maximization
* Advise on commercial, legal, and contractual matters
* Negotiate complex contracts and business arrangements
* Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks
* Ensure proper flow-down of commercial terms to suppliers
* Represent BAE Systems in negotiations and meetings, with occasional travel
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in Commercial & Contract Management
* Strong background in UK MOD and US DOD contracting, including DEFCONs, FAR/DFAR
* Proven negotiation and contract drafting skills
* Knowledge of pricing, cost estimating, and export compliance
* Ability to interpret complex contractual requirements
