Currently recruiting a Transport Planner for a leading UK Haulage & Distribution company based in Cambuslang. The successful candidate will have INTERNATIONAL planning experience and ideally possessing knowledge in the SPIRITS industry. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid experience in transport planning who thrives in a technical environment. Youll play a key role in designing and coordinating efficient routes for our fleet, managing spirit movements, and ensuring operational excellence across the board.
What Youll Be Doing:
Planning and optimising daily fleet movements across the UK and internationally.
Designing routes for liquid loads in a dynamic environment, factoring in load integrity, delivery windows, compliance, and real-time variables
Liaising with drivers and customers to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations
Supporting the Operations Manager with day-to-day coordination and strategic improvements
Processing customer orders and maintaining high standards of service and communication
What Youll Bring:
Proven experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
Clear communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
Basic salary in the region of £34K doe. Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
