Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Cannock and Hednesford

1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a variety of additional needs
2. Assist teachers in adapting and delivering a personalised curriculum
3. Encourage student engagement, independence, and progress
4. Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
5. Enjoy flexible placements — short-term, long-term, and potential permanent roles

6. Inclusive SEND schools supporting children and young people aged 4–19
7. Cater for a wide range of needs, including autism, social and emotional needs, and complex learning difficulties

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
10. Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEND (in school, care, or community settings)
11. Patient, resilient, and passionate about helping every child reach their potential
12. A strong communicator who builds positive relationships quickly
13. A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
You must be able to provide professional references and complete an Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service or willing to apply).
