Position Overview: They are seeking Mechanical Estimators at all levels - from Intermediate through to Senior - to join their expanding team. The successful candidates will be involved in all stages of the tendering process, producing accurate and competitive bids, and working closely with project and operational teams to ensure successful delivery. Senior-level candidates will lead major tenders and mentor junior team members, while those at earlier stages will receive full support and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of mechanical tenders ranging from £3m to £25m. Analyse drawings, specifications, and employer requirements. Prepare accurate take-offs, bills of quantities, and cost estimates. Source, analyse, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Develop value engineering proposals and alternative solutions. Work closely with project managers, directors, and commercial teams. Attend mid and post-tender interviews and support negotiations. Ensure smooth project handover to operations following successful tenders. Candidate Requirements: Experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services industry (HVAC / M&E). Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design & build environments. Exposure to high-value commercial or residential projects preferred. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work under pressure. Excellent commercial awareness, numeracy, and negotiation skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management.
