* To provide a smooth running clerical and administrative service to the Trust, this includes booking appointments, answering telephone calls and greeting patients on Reception desks
* To ensure that all data entries are made in a timely manner and by doing so, contribute to the achievement of the Trust’s targets, whether mandatory or local.
* To assist and support the team to ensure the delivery of a high quality service. This will require the use of good clerical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will
* Have the primary function of either a Receptionist, Call Centre Agent or Appointments Clerk. You will have input into the decision of which primary function suites you best
* You will have the opportunity to learn all of function and team skills
* Full training will be provided and no experience in a hospital setting is required
To excel you will have
* Recent experience in an office environment in a clerical/admin capacity
* Customer service experience
* Good communication skills with an empathetic approach

* General education to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths

* Relevant and recent experience in an office environment in a clerical/admin capacity

* Previous experience in a Healthcare environment
