Role Overview
The Senior Commercial Reporting Analyst will support the Commercial Assurance team by turning data into actionable insight, using tools like Power BI and Power Automate to deliver high‑quality reporting that empowers smarter decisions.

We provide essential water and wastewater services to over 5.4 million residents and millions of visitors in Yorkshire, protecting the environment and ensuring clean drinking water. The Commercial Assurance team is key to meeting customer and regulator expectations through data‑driven insights.
Responsibilities
* Lead the team in developing and enhancing dashboards and reports.
* Implement efficiencies and automation projects using RPA and Power Automate.
* Provide technical support to team members and the wider business as needed.
* Undertake in‑depth analytics of procure‑to‑pay commercial data sets, identifying relationships and patterns.
* Develop and maintain robust monitoring systems and contract performance dashboards.
* Drive the development of monitoring systems that report accurately and completely on commercial assurance.
* Support the Commercial Reporting Manager in implementing the Commercial Services Reporting Centre of Excellence programme, including dashboard enhancements and trend analysis of KPIs.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in advanced Excel, BI reporting, analytics, Power Apps, Power BI or other dashboarding software.
* Strong understanding of data governance and data integrity principles, with the ability to improve source data quality.
* Experience developing technical solutions and translating business requirements into deliverable outputs.
* Experience researching and analysing complex information and processes.
* Ability to influence individuals and ensure completion of activities.
* Knowledge of Databricks and Python would be useful but is not essential.
