Role: Transport Manager (Bulk) Salary: £50,000 + 9% Bonus Location: Middlesbrough The Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Manager to take the lead in managing and developing a high-performing team within a busy bulk logistics operation. As a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of bulk products across your region, while driving continuous improvement in performance, cost control, and customer service. This role is ideal for a Transport Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about safety, leadership, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing Managing a supportive team of around 20–30 drivers, ensuring all delivery operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with key service indicators. Overseeing all areas of transport operations, including scheduling, compliance, fleet maintenance, and driver performance. Keeping a close eye on transport costs and budgets, spotting opportunities to improve efficiency and implementing practical solutions that make a real difference.
