Are you a dedicated Client Care Assistant looking for a new challenge at a brand‑new practice? We opened our doors in March 2025 and want you to join us on our journey! We are eager to welcome a skilled professional to our friendly and dynamic team.
The brand‑new surgery is situated inside one of our stores and designed to deliver the highest clinical standards as well an enjoyable working environment for the whole team. Our clinic is fully equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and supported by a passionate team committed to providing exceptional care to our clients and their pets.
Clacton‑on‑Sea is a charming seaside town on the Essex coast. It offers sandy beaches, a classic pier, and beautiful coastal walks. Excellent commuting links make it an attractive option for residents and visitors alike.
We operate Monday to Saturday: Monday–Friday 9am–7pm, Saturday 9am–6pm on a rota basis. This is a full‑time role, 40 hours per week, with 1 in 2 Saturdays and no out‑of‑hours required.
Typical Day
* Provide exceptional service to clients and the best care for their pets, acting as the link between clients and the clinical team.
* Build strong relationships with clients, their pets and the practice team.
* Ensure every client’s visit ends with absolute satisfaction and anticipation of the next appointment.
* Greet each client, offer support, guidance, and expertise, manage payments and future bookings confidently.
* Coordinate the smooth running of day‑to‑day routines using our online booking system – computer literacy is a must.

* You are the friendly and welcoming face of the practice when clients arrive.
* You keep yourself fully up‑to‑speed with practice services and any additional services available.
* You remain calm, attentive and always focus on the clients’ needs.
* You bring enthusiasm and drive to your role; your passion for service matches your love of pets.
* You can handle everything thrown at you, from comforting a client after bad news to sharing in the joy of a new puppy's first visit.
* Your personality is infectious, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in partnership with colleagues.
