Role Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fabrication Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring production targets and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved. Youll oversee day-to-day operations within the fabrication department, focusing on productivity, quality, safety, and workforce engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with planning teams to align production schedules.
* Track hours worked and provide accurate budgetary feedback.
* Lead and motivate the factory team to maintain high levels of output and morale.
* Uphold Health & Safety standards in partnership with the SHEQ function.
* Ensure quality control processes are followed and continuously improved.
* Collaborate with design, technical, and procurement teams.
* Mentor and train staff to develop skills and support career progression.
* Monitor discipline and performance across the workforce.
* Identify and recommend improvements to plant, processes, and equipment.
* Contribute to wider factory management activities.
Candidate Profile
* Strong understanding of fabrication processes.
* Experience with sheet metal work.
* Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Commercially aware, with the ability to manage costs and resources effectively.
* Able to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
