The Role:
Are you passionate about building your sales network and want a career in business development?
We are seeking a dedicated full time Business Development Executive to join our growing team. Working alongside our wider sales and marketing team, we are looking for someone committed to developing relationships with clients and grow profit and revenue over time.

About Cansford:
We are a state-of-the-art drug and alcohol testing laboratory based in Cardiff. Our team pioneered hair testing in 1993 and today offer a modern, fast, class-leading service, working closely with family law and local authorities alongside a wider selection of industries. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:
Organised, hard-working, flexible, and practical attitude.
Able to work across teams within the business.
Knowledge of sales and marketing platforms such as Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
Confidence to pick up the phone and represent our business at events and conferences.
An interest in family law and /or chemistry and science.

Day to day duties will include:
Assisting in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Conducting market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Maintaining and updating customer databases (HubSpot) and bespoke CRM system.
Participating in sales meetings, networking events, and conferences.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
Support wider sales and marketing team on campaigns and product launches.

Education:
Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:
B2B sales: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cardiff CF23 7HB

We work a 35-hour week (9am-5pm) with a probationary period of up to six months.
