Role overview

Are you able to provide specialist support to young people and create a lasting impact? As a Specialist Dyslexia Tutor, you’ll be key in supporting and teaching young people in small groups and 1-1. You’ll be screening students in Further Education with dyslexic tendencies, organising exam concessions, and supporting those with EHCPs.

About You
* Qualified teacher (DET, PGCE or Certificate in Education).
* Level 7 SPLD qualified Assessor, though experience as a Dyslexia Teacher with lower relevant qualifications would be considered.
* Two years successful experience of teaching students with specific learning difficulties.
* Experience of leading and managing a team, although not essential.
* Safeguarding Knowledge and understanding.
* Experience of a range of conditions and their impact on learning.
* The ability to adapt and engage with learners.
