These are exciting times for Women’s Pioneer Housing. We are developing 160 new homes for single women in West London, which will be let to social housing residents in 2026, as well as a brand-new office on our site at Wood Lane, west London.

As Projects Officer, you will play a key role in supporting strong governance, effective performance management and regulatory assurance across the organisation.
The Role
As Projects Officer, you will play a key role in leading, coordinating and supporting the delivery of projects across the organisation. Working closely with teams across Development, Property Services, Housing Management, Tenancy Sustainment and Corporate Services, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
This is a varied and influential role, suited to someone who enjoys working across teams, managing competing priorities and supporting change in a regulated social housing environment. You will contribute to service improvement, organisational performance and the successful delivery of our Corporate Plan.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, independence and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to new challenges and learn new skills to:
* Lead and coordinate a portfolio of cross-departmental projects from initiation through to completion.
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones and resources in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely mitigation and escalation.
* Facilitate project meetings and briefings, ensuring clear communication of objectives, progress and decisions.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, residents, contractors and external partners to support effective delivery.
* Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, reporting and records to support governance, assurance and learning.
The Individual
We are looking to appoint an organised, analytical and professional individual with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels, including residents, contractors and senior colleagues.
You will be a proactive self-starter, able to manage your own workload while coordinating cross-departmental activity in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
* Experience delivering or supporting end-to-end projects in a complex, multi-department environment.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
* Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient IT skills, including use of MS Office and project management tools.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Experience of working in social housing or a similarly regulated sector.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall).
* Knowledge of women’s housing issues, particularly within London.
* Knowledge of housing regulation, building safety or heat network responsibilities.

We operate a formal hybrid working policy which requires all staff to attend the office every Tuesday and at least one additional day per week.
