A Primary School in Stockport are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive School Administrator to join their busy primary school office. You’ll be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, so a warm, professional manner is essential. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting the smooth running of the school by handling everything from attendance and admissions to ordering supplies and updating records.
Location: Stockport, SK1
Hours: Full-time / Term-time only (37 hours per week)
Rate: £ - £15/hour DOE
Contract Type: Temporary, until Xmas
Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Weing visitors and answering phone/email enquiries
2. Managing pupil attendance and admissions records
3. Supporting the Headteacher and staff with admin tasks
4. Ordering stationery and school supplies
5. Maintaining accurate records using SIMS
6. Handling confidential information with discretion
Key Skills/Experience:
7. Previous admin experience within a school environment
8. Confident using Microsoft Office and school MIS ( SIMS, Bro, Arbor)
9. Excellentmunication and organisational skills
10. A calm, positive attitude and a good sense of humour
11. Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
