An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership senior team on a permanent basis to cover the role of Community Operational Manager within the Crewe portfolio.
The role provides operational, business and transformational management of the Community and specialist services within the portfolio. This includes overseeing the finance, performance quality and governance, development and management of staff and the overall operational delivery of services.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will have key responsibility for the operational management of clinical services including all aspects of the service delivery and performance management. It is expected they will:
* Be accountable and make decisions on day-to-day operational issues for areas within remit and be responsible for the delivery of the
* Support and work in collaboration with colleagues and partners in the planning, development, provision and review of the Community and Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership strategy and specialist
* Build and maintain positive relationships with Primary Care and other stakeholders including Acute Trust, Local Authority and Community sector across the 2 ICP footprints.
* Ensure the delivery of high quality, patient focused and cost-effective services in line with CCICPs strategic direction and the Annual Plan.
* Provide managerial leadership within their areas of responsibility
* Provide and develop a positive working environment promoting a caring and compassionate service delivery and open culture fostering high morale and commitment among all staff which promotes their wellbeing and professional development.

To work in partnership with the Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) Director and Head of Quality, Nursing and Professional Leadership in shaping the strategy and operational delivery of the services within remit. Working closely with system colleagues including Care Community Clinical Leads, PCNs (Primary Care Networks) Clinical Directors, GP Alliance, Local Authority, Social Care, PLACE workforce and transformation teams to support transformative collaborative delivery of care to the local population. To operationally manage the delivery of service provision within the Community setting, supporting the redesign and implementation of new models of care. To work as an active member of the CCICP Senior leadership team, working closely with other CCICP Operational Community Manager Colleagues to provide line management to Clinical Service Leads and Team Leaders of specialist services within the defined portfolio of the role. To work closely with key business partners in corporate services, service users, commissioners in ICB/Local Authority/Public Health, Hospital Trusts and other external agencies and affiliated healthcare providers.

Essential
* Extensive experience in leading clinical services.
* Effective staff management, including recruitment and application of a range of HR policies.
* Experience of managing a clinical service or function including budget management, delivery of cost savings and efficiencies.
* Proven experience in leading change management process or service redesign. Including principles of project management
* Sound knowledge of clinical service management issues including clinical governance processes.
* Sound understanding of current national policy and standards regarding Services including key performance issues and commissioners' priorities.
Desirable
* Proven experience of effective engagement with senior healthcare management e.g. performance review, presenting business cases etc.
* 3Management experience at Band 8a level.
