We're looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our catering team and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen for our residents. This is a vital role that helps ensure residents enjoy nutritious meals in a hygienic and welcoming environment.

Job Purpose
To support the catering team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring all meals are served in a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Clean kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment thoroughly and regularly
* Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and cookware
* Assist in setting up and clearing down the kitchen and dining areas
* Dispose of kitchen waste safely and in line with hygiene regulations
* Keep floors, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces tidy and hazard-free
* Support the catering team with general kitchen duties as needed
* Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and infection control policies
What We're Looking For
* Kind, caring, and respectful attitude toward elderly residents
* Hard-working and able to keep up in a fast-paced kitchen
* Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to cleanliness
* Team player with good communication skills
* Reliable and punctual
* No experience needed - full training provided!
Pay Scale:
* £12.21 per hour
* £15.47 per hour (Weekends)
* £24.42 per hour (Bank Holidays)
