Claims Handler Apprentice
We're looking for a Claims Handler Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Northamptonshire, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Insurance Practitioner.
Transportation - Build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people. We provide transport solutions that are sustainable, long-lasting and that promote various methods of transport
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £20,800
Start Date: September 2026

How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Claims Handler Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Insurance Practitioner, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Claims team to support in the overall design, build and maintenance of infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people. .
Your day to day will include:
* Producing quick and relevant correspondence for customers who want updates or further information
* Building a timeline and making important decisions based off investigations
* Ensuring files are managed and filed away
* Gather all required claims information needed to provide support to the team
What are we looking for?
The role of Claims Handler Apprentice is great for you if have:
* GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English OR Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
* Willing to learn
* Self-motivated, punctual and organised
* Able to communicate clearly, both verbal and written
