We have an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Facilitator to join our Primary Care team at HMP Foston Hall, a women's prison located in Foston in Derbyshire.
Hours
This is a part time job working 22.5 hours per week. We have some flexibility on the days worked but we will be looking for some weekend shifts to be covered.
This position is part time, you’ll receive an annual salary of up to £33,150 pro rata per annum.

Responsibilities
As a Wellbeing Facilitator, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Lead on initiatives to improve patient experience and communication.
* Develop and facilitate patient and family forums, surveys, and health promotion activities.
* Act as a point of contact for patients with queries, concerns, or suggestions.
* Support the induction and education of new patients on healthcare access and pathways.
* Ensure equitable engagement with diverse patient populations, including those with complex needs or low literacy levels.
* Organise and promote interest in recreational activities in an inclusive, stimulating, and safe environment.
* Ascertain and interpret group interests, evaluate equipment and facilities, and adapt activities to meet individual participant needs.
* Explain principles, techniques, and safety procedures to participants in recreational activities, and demonstrate use of materials and equipment.
* Develop positive relationships with participants.

Qualifications & Experience Required
* Experience in a prison environment, mental health hospital or similar is preferable
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
* Demonstrated ability to engage and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience in facilitating groups and individual activities
