Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
Hours: 8AM - 5PM
We are recruiting a Senior Controls Engineer to lead and deliver automation projects from design through to commissioning and final acceptance. This is a senior role requiring strong controls engineering expertise and proven project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead multiple automation projects end-to-end
* Produce and manage Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
* Design controls layouts and technical documentation
* Manage project resources, schedules, budgets, and materials
* Oversee FAT, installation planning, commissioning, and final acceptance
* Provide weekly project updates, highlighting risks and progress
* Mentor junior engineers and project managers
* Attend customer sites as required
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Senior Controls Engineer or similar
* Strong controls engineering background (PLC / automation systems)
* Solid project management experience, managing multiple projects
* Experience with FDS, electrical design, FAT, and commissioning
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
