Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee a brand new bar in Standish, opening in November 2025. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your experience and knowledge of bar trends will play a key role in enhancing our offerings and overall guest satisfaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who has a great passion for the hospitality trade and is keen to grow and launch a new business.
Duties
* Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times.
* Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, and maintaining cleanliness.
* Train and develop team members in preparation, serving techniques, and customer service skills.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations to guarantee the health and safety of both staff and guests.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Monitor bar performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement as necessary.
* Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Manager role within a bar or restaurant setting is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
