Fawkes & Reece are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a residential project based in Bristol. Our client specialises in timber frame residential developments, and they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in residential construction to support the project on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities • Managing project costs and budgets throughout the construction lifecycle • Preparing cost reports, valuations, and financial forecasts • Supporting procurement and subcontractor management • Monitoring project expenditure and identifying cost efficiencies • Assisting with contract administration and variations • Working closely with project and commercial teams to maintain financial control Requirements • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction • Experience working on timber frame projects is highly desirable • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Management • Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Must be available to start immediately What’s on Offer • Temporary Role • Competitive rate of £350 per day • 12-week contract with a main residential contractor &...
