Role Description
This is a full-time, role located in Chorley Lancashire for an Associate or Assistant Solicitor or Barrister. The Solicitor will handle a variety of legal matters, mainly road traffic and general crime but will have the option to take on regulatory cases. The role involves providing legal advice, preparing legal documentation, negotiating on behalf of clients, and representing clients in court. The role will involve working closely with a team to deliver practical and effective legal solutions for clients while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The firm will offer development opportunities including the option to complete higher rights of audience and specialist training in road traffic and regulatory work if required. Potential to progress to Partner/Director for the right candidate.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Qualified Solicitor, ideally with experience of the criminal courts.
* Has some advocacy experience, preferably in the magistrates court or at tribunal
* Good communication skills and ability to relate to clients
* Intelligent and capable
* Keen to learn and develop in these areas
