Role Description
Join ACSI Europe Ltd as a full‑time Controls & Automation Engineer and work hands‑on with some of the most advanced PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation technologies in the world. This on‑site role in Watchfield places you at the heart of designing, programming, and commissioning cutting‑edge control systems that power global operations.
You’ll troubleshoot complex systems, craft intelligent process control strategies, and develop high‑performance PLC and SCADA solutions using the latest platforms—including modern packages like Ignition, and WinCC Unified. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency across industries and continents, giving you the opportunity to innovate, experiment, and engineer smarter systems every day.

Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in programming, testing, and commissioning Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
* Hands‑on experience with SCADA systems, HMI development, and industrial information systems
* Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, ControlLogix, Modicon, Siemens, and related platforms
* Experience with modern SCADA technologies— Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC —is a significant advantage
* Understanding of industrial cybersecurity, control network architecture, and communication protocols (Ethernet, ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Modbus)
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to documentation
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and deliver to tight project timelines
* Willingness to travel for short commissioning assignments across the UK and internationally
