Job Description:
The Careers Hub is a small team dedicated to impacting young people's perceptions of their future careers in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We support employers in developing outreach activities and help schools and colleges provide modern, equitable careers education. Our work aligns with Cornwall's Workforce and Skills Strategy, focusing on four key areas:
1. Driving continuous improvement in Careers Education, aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks
2. Introducing national initiatives
3. Ensuring access to diverse academic and vocational pathways for young people
4. Encouraging regional employer engagement in assessments
The Role:
We are hiring two roles, including an Enterprise Coordinator who will foster relationships with Careers leaders in educational institutions and local businesses. The coordinator will plan and manage their schedule, working remotely and attending networking events. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior education and business leaders. Experience in education, careers, or the private sector is welcome.
This is a public/customer-facing role focused on delivering national goods and services.
