Become a trustee to help develop a life-saving service for Nottingham. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including those with lived experience of homelessness.
What you’ll bring
* Finance/accountancy (to act as Treasurer)
* Legal/property (especially housing or charity law)
* Health, safeguarding or social care
* Housing/homelessness sector expertise or lived experience
* Fundraising, marketing or communications
* General community/business skills (strategic thinking, governance, networks)
Responsibilities
* Set the vision and strategy for the shelter.
* Oversee governance, compliance, and safeguarding.
* Champion the cause and open doors to new partnerships.
* Ensure the charity is financially sustainable and impactful.
Trustees typically commit to around 6 board meetings per year plus occasional additional time for subcommittees, fundraising, or events.
