About Our Client

Our client is a renowned organisation based near Aylesbury. They are seeking a skilled professional to join their accounting & finance department and contribute to their operational excellence.

Job Description

3. Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and expense accounts
4. Credit Control
5. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
6. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate tracking of payments and receipts
7. Assist in preparing documentation for audits and compliance checks
8. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes with efficiency
9. Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to the finance team
10. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
11. Support the accounting & finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful Bookkeeper should have/be:

12. Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
14. A strong understanding of financial principles and regulatory requirements
15. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
16. A qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is advantageous but not essential
17. Immediately available
18. Able to drive due to remote location
