We are looking for an experienced Fishmonger to manage the fish counter within the Food Hall. You will ideally have experience sourcing and preparing fresh fish and seafood while maintaining excellent standards of presentation, hygiene and customer service. This is a permanent role.
Role Responsibilities
Source and order fresh fish and seafood from trusted suppliers, ensuring quality, seasonality and value.
Prepare, fillet, skin and portion fish to customer requirements.
Maintain clean, attractive and well-stocked displays with accurate pricing and correct stock rotation.
Provide knowledgeable and friendly advice to customers on selection and cooking methods.
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, completing and recording daily checks.
Required qualifications & experience
Proven experience working as a Fishmonger.
Experience sourcing and buying fresh fish, with knowledge of seasonality and supplier relationships.
Strong customer service skills.
Preferred qualifications & experience
Experience within a retail or Food Hall environment.
Experience creating attractive fresh food displays.
Working Hours
Wednesday through to Sunday and every weekend.
