Electromechanical Technician (Manufacturing / Assembly / Rework) Enfield £33000 - £35000 benefits We are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in advanced electronic systems used in demanding environments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join their production team. The Role You will be responsible for the assembly, rework, and testing of complex electromechanical equipment, working to high-quality standards within a structured manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Assembly and rework of electromechanical and electronic systems Soldering, wiring, crimping, and PCB (PCA) level work Following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions Conducting testing and basic fault finding Inspecting your own work and supporting quality standards Raising defects and supporting continuous improvement activities Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant work environment (5S, ESD, etc.) What Were Looking For Minimum 2 years experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment Strong hands-on experience in electromechanical or electronic assembly Confident in soldering, wiring, and rework (PCB experience desirable) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Experience with testing and fault finding Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving Basic IT skills (e.g. Word, Excel, or ERP systems)
