Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their dedicated maintenance team. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated professional with excellent diagnostic and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality repair, installation, and refurbishment work across a range of domestic properties, ensuring all work complies with I.E.E. wiring regulations, including Part P.
Electrician Key Responsibilities:
* Fault finding on single & three-phase installations
* Electrical testing and inspection, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
* Completion of electrical installation certificates and minor works reports
* Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
* Installation and replacement of showers, electric heating, immersion elements, and domestic heating controls
* Electrical installation work on various systems and equipment
* Reporting urgent repairs or health and safety concerns to the Qualifying Supervisor
* Accurate daily record keeping and time management using PDA/smart devices
* Participation in the Emergency Out of Hours service rota
* Promoting a proactive health and safety culture across all operations
Electrician Required Skills & Qualifications
* City & Guilds 2330 and 2382 qualifications (Essential)
* City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Desirable)
* Proven experience in domestic electrical installations and repairs
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to specify required materials and complete works to a high standard
* Comfortable working to deadlines and independently
* Proficiency with smartphone technology and work scheduling via PDAs
* Willingness to undergo further training and development
