About the Role
A well‑established engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Turner skilled in programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled lathes. You will join a precision engineering team producing high‑quality components for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
2. Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings
4. Carry out in‑process quality checks using a range of measuring equipment
5. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
6. Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Requirements
7. Proven experience as a CNC Turner working with Fanuc control systems
8. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision machining
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team
10. High attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
11. Experience in a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment is advantageous

Shift Pattern:
17. Day Shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm | Friday 6:00am–1:00pm
18. Back Shift: also available, with an early Friday finish
