The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide high-quality classroom support across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will help create an engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects
* Delivering targeted interventions and small group support
* Promoting positive behaviour management strategies
* Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
* Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and resilience
* Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and student-centred environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Passionate about education and student development
* Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
* Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
* Experienced working with young people in education, care, coaching, or mentoring settings (desirable)
* In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to obtain one
* Able to build positive relationships and act as a positive role model
