Due to the retirement of the current post holder, the Governors of our inclusive and nurturing primary school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and conscientious Admin Officer to join our Castle Hill family from September 2025. We are looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative individual whose background and experience would enable them to fulfil this demanding and diverse role. Current systems and procedures within the office are fully embedded and the full time School Business Manager is available to provide training and support to the successful candidate. This is a key role within our friendly team and we re looking for someone who will bring not only strong skills but a warm, team-focused approach. You ll be the first point of contact for all visitors, families and children, so it is essential that you are approachable, calm and confident under pressure. The School Admin Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including managing school records, managing office data and software systems, coordinating communication between staff, parents, and parents, and supporting the school's daily activities. The successful candidate will: Demonstrate strong organisational skills and manage effective administrative systems throughout the school. Have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to develop a good working knowledge of the school s Management Information System (Arbor). Have the capacity and willingness to contribute to the life of the whole school. Actively promote a positive image of the school through the execution of this role. Demonstrate a good level of written and spoken standard English and be a good role model to our children. Be sensitive and understanding to children, embracing the inclusive, Christian ethos of the school.
