Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate – Civil Engineering & Nuclear

Overview
A UK-based construction consultancy is seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Associate level individual to support a major civil engineering and nuclear infrastructure programme. These roles are suited to commercially focused professionals with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects in a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial management for a project section or major workstream
* Prepare, analyse, and present Earned Value data
* Oversee procurement processes and manage supplier performance
* Produce accurate financial and performance reports
* Support value engineering and risk mitigation strategies
* Manage contract administration, particularly under NEC target cost frameworks
* Lead change control, dispute resolution, and commercial governance
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
* Engage with clients and project stakeholders effectively
Requirements
* Demonstrable experience on complex civil engineering or nuclear infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts and target cost management
* Chartered status with RICS, ICES, CIOB or equivalent
* Experience leading commercial teams and delivering structured reporting
* Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Confident in stakeholder engagement and contractual negotiations
