Faced with continuing increases in demand,costs,andcomplexity of needs across children's social care and education, we have established a transformation team and set up programmes to tackle key areas, such as SEND reform, Family Hubs, Families First and increasing placement sufficiency for children we care for.Our goal is to achieve the best possible life outcomes for children and young people in Oxfordshire and to make our services sustainable and fit for the future.If you like a challenge and want to tackle issues that make a real difference to local people's lives, it's a really exciting time to join us.About the role:This role has been created specifically to support our response to SEND reform, a landmark national programme that seeks to better meets the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, enabling them to thrive in their local communities.As a Change Support Officer, you will support successful delivery of the SEND reform programme, including by:• Ensuring the smooth progression and delivery of a breadth of tasks through identifying goals, priorities, breaking down complex tasks into achievable actions and communicating this effectively.• Working through problems which arise throughout a project lifecycle by gathering the right information, identifying a solution, and coordinating the delivery of this with the right stakeholders.• Working co-operatively, as part of a team liaising with both internal and external colleagues to provide efficient and effective specialist support.About youYou willbe motivatedby making a tangible difference to the lives of children and young peopleand as a transformation and change management professional in a service design and improvement environment.We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and a clear communicator.
