Teaching Assistants - Secondary Schools in Salford

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Salford to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils and teaching staff on both a day-to-day supply and long-term basis.
These roles are available immediately and offer flexible opportunities for education professionals who are confident working in secondary school settings and are passionate about supporting young people to succeed.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in and out of the classroom
Work alongside class teachers to help deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide one-to-one or small group support where required
Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a positive learning environment
Adapt quickly to different schools, departments and student needs (for day-to-day roles)
Pay
£100 - £115 per day, depending on experience and the nature of the role
Essential Requirements
Please note: only applicants with prior experience working in schools or education settings will be considered.
You must have:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar education-based role
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
