About the role
An exciting 8-week temporary opportunity has arisen to join the Accounts Payable team within the Planning and Finance Department as an Accounts Payable Assistant. The Accounts Payable Team plays an important part in supporting day-to-day business operations of the University by operational transacting and by overseeing and governing the Procure-to-Pay Cycle of the University.
We are seeking to appoint a recent University of Sunderland graduate who would like to gain experience of working in a transactional role within a finance department, whilst demonstrating strong team ethics, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
What you can bring
You will be a highly motivated individual, who is committed to delivering individual and team KPIs. The role involves working as part of a team, therefore being a strong team player is essential. The role will involve transactional processing of invoices, credit notes, card transactions and expense claims to support the University's Procure to Pay Cycle, therefore, attention to detail and the ability to process information accurately is essential.
