Internally this role is know as Contracts and Performance Manager
Bournemouth Housing First supports people who are homelessness across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. This is a new service that starts in June, so this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the set up and implementation of this team.
Our team will be providing intensive, one to one support to enable clients to maintain their accommodation and achieve their goals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* You will provide support and leadership and develop, motivate and recruit for staff teams within your area
* Support staff teams to deliver effective outcomes to clients and to respond to and manage safeguarding concerns
* You will develop and promote the highest levels of internal and external client consultation
* You will ensure that buildings are maintained to provide a high-quality environment at all times and will engage with landlords to deliver their responsibilities
* Deliver “reflective practice” sessions to teams, ensuring that key learning and actions are followed up
* Ensure that minimum staffing levels are maintained to deliver services safely and that services follow safe lone working practices
* You will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with our stakeholders and commissioners.
* Represent the organisation positively and proactively at meetings and deliver presentations to local community, staff and commissioners
* Chair / lead key local meetings and work with other agencies to achieve agreed actions
* Ensure the delivery of multiple services within approved budgets
* Lead on income management, specifically rent collection, voids and lettings performance
* Work with the Regional Director to identify, cultivate and secure new funding streams and business opportunities in line with our strategy
* Ensure a culture of continuous improvement
* Implement new services as required and agreed
* Deliver services in line with psychologically/trauma informed principles
* Demonstrably contribute to the delivery of organisational strategies
* Liaise with other managers to pool knowledge, experience and ideas for service improvement
* Ensure adherence within services to all organisational policies and procedures
* Ensure knowledge of sector specific issues remain at a high level
* You will undertake investigations and performance management processes where required
* To be part of the on-call coverage for own or other areas as necessary
* Any other reasonable duties required in the interest of the organisation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
Previous experience in this type of work is not essential but you will have a real passion for wanting to work with people experiencing homelessness, mental health and other associated needs. * Experience of :
o Effective staff management, supervision, team leadership and evidence of improving performance outputs, across multi-sites and through remote management of services and people
o Managing services for similar client groups
o Working with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for clients
o Change management and implementing new services
* Ability to maintain electronic records, produce reports, analyse budgets and monitor KPIs
* Up to date knowledge of sector specific legislation and best practice including safeguarding adults, young people and children
* Evidence of management level or professional qualification, training and/or experience in social care, management or housing
* Ability to prepare for, chair and minute meetings
* Clear verbal and written English and excellent communication skills
* Understanding of the principles of working in ways which support psychologically/trauma informed principals
