Applications are invited from experienced Occupational Therapists to join the service at our clients Acute Hospital site based inCentral London ( Travelcard Zone 1 ). This role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services. This is a full-time permanent post but we are open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity. An established charity-status centre of excellence for over 160 years, the Hospital has 60 inpatient beds, including level three Critical Care and a state of the art five-suite Operating Theatre complex. Occupational Therapy Department provides a comprehensive service to hospital inpatients as well as domiciliary visits and specialises in; neurological rehabilitation, palliative care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery and dementia. Other services include; Assessment and treatment of functional difficulties,Advice on home modification, Advice on and prescription of adaptive equipment,Teaching of alternative of compensatory techniques, Specialist seating assessments, Wheelchair assessments, Falls management programme, Neurological assessments and Manual handling advice. Person requirements Occupational Therapist with full HCPC registration. Current or recent UK-based Hospital-based experience comprising both inpatient and outpatients. Experience in supervision, teaching and mentorship of junior OTs. The ability to deputise for the Lead OT in their absence.
