Main Duties
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
* Engage fully with the National Operations Centre (NOC) and Mitie management, using all provided technology including body cams and mobile devices to report incidents.
* Carry out all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI’s).
* Proactively review the Assignment Instructions, familiarize with any changes and suggest amendments to improve service levels.
* Maintain compliance with industry and statutory legislation, including wearing the required front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) at all times while on duty.
Contractual Requirements
* Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly manner.
* Renew the licence 16 weeks before expiry.
* Complete required competency training and undertake continuous self‑development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
Training
* Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through continuous professional development.
Security and Health & Safety
* Immediately report any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
* Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Use common sense and initiative by involving others if a situation appears threatening.
* Maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
* Complete a detailed notebook entry promptly after any incident, as part of the Incident Report process.
* Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
* Ensure check calls are carried out at the allotted time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions.
* Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
