Job Overview
This role involves leading the Landlord Cyclical Compliance Programme, ensuring 100% compliance across property functions such as Fire, Gas, Electricity, Legionella, Asbestos, and LOLER. The manager will oversee relationships with internal teams and external contractors, manage budgets, and produce reports for senior leadership and the Board.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage statutory compliance for all regulatory responsibilities.
2. Oversee the transition of compliance responsibilities and embed process improvements.
3. Develop and manage compliance schedules and programmes.
4. Evaluate compliance data and KPIs, producing assurance reports.
5. Develop policies and procedures in line with legislation and industry standards.
6. Ensure compliance for properties without maintenance responsibilities.
7. Manage budgets and forecast expenditures for compliance activities.
8. Collaborate with senior teams to influence and deliver corporate strategy.
Experience & Skills
* Passion for excellent customer service and achieving 100% compliance.
* Proven success in similar roles within housing/property sectors.
* Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, management, and auditing.
* Strong programme management and change project experience.
* Ability to work across teams and develop continuous improvement culture.
* Effective stakeholder management skills.
* Leadership qualities with resource and budget management experience.
