Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a 3D Designer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.
The role of 3D Designer is creatively responsible translating the brand identity vision across physical objects, covering a broad range of aspects, including but not limited to, vehicle detail design, off vehicle EV infrastructure, furniture and equipment and collections and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3D solutions.
* Create and implement 3Dimensional design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support the brand vision and position.
* Able to take rough concepts through detail development into tangible and feasible solutions.
* Stakeholder Management across interdependent design functions.
Essential Skills Required:
* Excellent 3D design experience gained in agency and corporate settings.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3D context.
* Sensitivity to form and function.
* Knowledge of production, manufacturing and material processes.
* Strong proficiency in digital modelling software – alias, blender, rhino.
* Realtime rendering capability in Keyshot or similar.
* Unreal Engine experience preferable.
* Strong Stakeholder Management skills.
* Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones.
* Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment.
