DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting the People Services Departmental Management Team in contributing to the delivery of the People Services delivery plan, People Strategy and Target Operating Model through leading and driving team resources through coaching and mentoring, ensuring underperformance/capability issues are addressed to ensure a significant contribution to the delivery of a best-in-class people service. To ensure that service delivery complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, the organisation's policies and procedures and appropriate legislation within the area of expertise. To support the Head of Service and Assistant Director of HR in the continual development of the service, ensuring innovative best practice ideas are embedded across the service. To ensure that all services are delivered with a high level of customer focus, solution-focused approaches, ensuring People Services Delivery and Advice provides prompt solutions at the appropriate levels. To contribute to the development of relevant policies and procedures within your area of professional expertise, ensuring that it continually supports the strategic direction of the People Service and aims.
