This role requires flexibility to work 24/7, including weekends and on-call duties. Full training, PPE, and equipment will be provided to ensure all drainage engineers can perform to high standards regardless of background or experience.
Position Details
* Location: Crawley Depot (Crawley, West Sussex)
* Type: Permanent, Full-time
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours/week
* Salary: £37,000/year

About The Role
As part of our Utility Division, you'll work on Southern Water contracts solving waste-water network and drainage issues. Responsibilities include:
* Traveling via HGV in two-person teams to residential sites
* Cleaning and maintaining drainage systems
* Recording job reports
* Running diagnostics and repairs
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Maintaining safety standards
* Managing vehicle stock
* Using platforms like VISTEC and Salesforce
* Operating vacuum tankers and equipment
* Accessing sites safely and performing manual handling tasks
* Working in all weather conditions and assessing risks
* Liaising with clients and supporting colleagues
* Inspecting tools and reporting issues
* Adhering to company policies and completing ad-hoc tasks

About You
The ideal candidate is hardworking, respectful, and safety-conscious. Experience with high-pressure jetting is useful but not essential. Qualifications like NRSWA or Confined Spaces are advantageous. You must hold:
* A valid HGV Class 2 license
* Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* Up-to-date digi tachograph card
