Responsibilities
Accompany and support during appointments and outings while offering calm, reassuring presence should anxiety or distress arise.
Help maintain wellbeing by assisting with symptoms like fainting, anxiety and emotional regulation.
Suggest local activities or hobbies and affirming spaces and attitudes - acting with empathy, adaptability, and unwavering understanding.
Qualifications/Experience
Must hold a full UK driving licence and feel confident driving a manual vehicle.
An understanding and/or experience of supporting autistic individuals would be advantageous.
Excellent clear, calm communication skills, strong empathy, and the physical capability to assist if someone feels faint or unwell.
Flexibility in adapting to changing plans or hours, comfort working in LGBTQ-friendly environments, and ideally experience supporting anxiety or panic attacks, some insight into Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria and sensory processing differences,
