Job Responsibilities
1. Work with the sales directors and managers to contribute to the profitable growth of our business in this industry sector, including applications support & project management over a range of products (standard & modified standard), testing & evaluation, customer & support liaison, and customer & supplier visits.
2. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing & new legislation/specifications, relevant power products, and their impact on our product range. Be able to discuss competently with internal & external customers.
3. Ensure that customer-specific product developments are completed on time and within budget, utilizing internal or external resources as appropriate.
4. Provide timely technical support to customers, sales teams, and distribution partners, collaborating across departments to ensure accurate information is available and contributing to ongoing product developments.
5. Verify and deliver customer-specific products to meet requirements. These are typically modified standard and value-added developments designed around standard power supplies and DC/DC converters, using internal or external design & manufacturing resources as appropriate.
6. Maintain internal information such as datasheet database, application notes, approval documents, technical response documents, BOMs, test specifications, and build instructions.
Qualifications
1. Relevant experience through degree or long tenure.
2. Proven experience in sales and engineering industries.
3. Background in power supply, industrial, or medical sectors preferred.
4. Flexible with a growth mindset.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong training skills are desirable.
7. Efficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
8. Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP/S4, and SharePoint is advantageous.
9. Ability to work as part of a team.
10. Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
