We're looking for a motivated Professional Development Manager on a fixed‑term contract basis to shape our global trainer management and development. Join us in making a lasting impact on over 700 trainers worldwide, ensuring high standards in selection, accreditation, development, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
* Organise and lead selection events to recruit skilled trainers in the UK and globally (occasional international flights/travel required).
* Develop and coordinate our online induction course for trainers and manage mentoring and co‑facilitation programmes to support trainers in their initial and ongoing professional development (PD).
* Lead our trainer Continuous Professional Development programme: planning, preparing and collaborating with consultants and colleagues to lead virtual workshops, upskilling courses and syllabus updates to support our trainers to continuously enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Drive our observation programme to uphold high standards in professional development delivery, continually assessing and refining what "good" PD looks like.
* Regularly review and innovate processes to optimise efficiency and resource use.
Qualifications
* You hold a degree and a postgraduate qualification in teaching.
* You have a demonstrable and significant level of experience teaching in primary, secondary, or further education.
* You possess a solid understanding of effective teaching practices, reflective professional development, and ideally experience in international education and project management.
* You have clear communication, facilitation, and effective time management skills.
* You are proficient in IT and data, and experienced in project leadership, negotiation, and influencing.
* You are a team player, responsible, adaptable, and collaborate well with colleagues and partners from diverse backgrounds.
* You empower others to grow and continuously seek ways to improve processes, working with agility to meet evolving needs.
* You have an existing right to work in the UK (required for a position less than 12 months in duration).
