Overview
Vehicle Technician position in Folkestone. Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, no weekends. Basic salary up to £45k DOE + bonus + OT. Ref: 28687.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle makes and models. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be proficient with diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. A passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
* Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements
* You will need some experience as a vehicle technician and/or a relevant and up-to-date qualification
* It would be a huge bonus if you had an MOT qualification
* You will be a person who takes great pride in your work with incredible attention to detail
* You will need a full valid UK driving licence
* A stocked toolbox that you can use for work
