Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and professional Waitress/Waiter /Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and seat them comfortably
* Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems or manually
* Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
* Provide excellent guest service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations
* Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Handle cash and process payments accurately, including managing tips
* Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, counters, and bar stations
* Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required during quieter periods
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
Skills
* Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
* Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions confidently
* Good understanding of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
* Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, professional manner
* Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and revenue
* Organised with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude towards colleagues and guests
