Janitor
Location: Meldrum Academy Colpy Road Oldmeldrum AB15 0NT
Working hours: Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.00pm, and Friday 7.30am - 3.00pm. 41.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent - Full time
Hourly Rate: £13.40 per hour

Your new role
What you’ll do:
* Be able to commute to Meldrum Academy Colpy Road Oldmeldrum AB15 0NT
* Carrying out routine and ad-hoc janitorial duties in support of all on site personnel to ensure compliance with contract conditions
* Carrying out planned janitorial maintenance duties in accordance with agreed timescales and procedures and undertake any property maintenance work within the post holder’s range of competence
* Supervising, developing and monitoring all cleaning staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained in accordance with contract conditions and agreed quality management procedures
* Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all the school’s energy systems in accordance with agreed contract conditions
* Providing support and assistance to any other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager
What you’ll need:
* Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working
* Awareness of COSHH regulations
The successful candidate will require a PVG Check before starting in the job.
