I am seeking talented music producers to create unique and engaging background music for my song. The ideal candidate should have experience in music composition, arrangement, and mixing. You will collaborate with me to ensure the music aligns with the mood and theme of the lyrics. Please provide samples of your previous work along with your application. Here's how I'm envisioning this project so we're aligned before moving forward.
Milestone 1:
I have an copyrighted original a cappella song recorded, along with both the full vocal track and smaller snippet sections I created to help explore musical ideas. I will provide 2 reference songs. My goal initially is to hear 2–3 short background music concepts or stylistic directions that could work with the vocals so I can choose the best overall vibe before committing to full production.
Deliverable: 2-3 background music concepts
Success: We both agree on at least 1 idea to move forward
Deposit: $25
Milestone 2:
We will move forward with the idea chosen from milestone 1 and you will develop the complete background track, finalizing the arrangement, and completing demo ready with my vocals integrated.
Deliverables: Fully completed background music that includes my demo vocals integrated.
Success: We both agree that the completed track works with my song and I sign off.
Payment: $150
Milestone 3:
I will get the vocals recorded in a studio and provide the recorded vocals including background vocals that can be overlayed along with main vocals. You will complete mastering the entire track along with vocals so it can be released to various channels.
Deliverable: Mastered track along with studio recorded vocals to release the track.
Success: We both agree it has the right pitch, no audio issues, no sound issues, it integrates my studio recorded vocals and it is fully mastered and release ready.
Payment: $75
This would be a work-for-hire project, meaning if we proceed, the music and production delivered throughout the project would be delivered with no retained rights or additional claims once payment is completed.
I'll provide all vocal stems, references, and feedback needed, and I'm hoping for a collaborative, smooth process throughout.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
